Unesa.ac.id,Surabaya–Unesa once again held a Blessing Friday on Friday (2/4/2021) at the Gate of Unesa Lidah Wetan Campus. This time Unesa collaborated with SMCC and Dharma Wanita Persatuan Unesa.
Prof. Dr. Bambang Yulianto, M.Pd. as Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Unesa said that Unesa's concern for the community must continue to be improved, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, which is economically affected by significant impacts.
"Therefore, we share with the community one of them through Friday Blessings. Hopefully it can help the community around a little bit," he said.
Jumat Berkah is a routine activity held every Friday. The implementation took turns at Unesa Ketintang Campus and Lidah Wetan Campus.
On This Berkah Friday, there are about 200 food packages distributed for free to the people around Unesa and residents who pass through the Unesa area or the local community who are indeed departing in search of fortune.
Head of Dharma Wanita Persatuan Unesa, Dra. Endah Purnomowati Nurhasan, M.Pd., said that on this occasion, DWP was chosen as the executor of blessing Friday activities.
Endah Purnomowati Nurhasan admitted that the preparations they made to organize this activity were assisted by the Unesa Crisis Center Mitigation Unit (SMCC).
"The 200 boxes that we provide in just a few minutes are up. This means that the public is very enthusiastic to welcome unesa sharing program," he said. Endah hopes that unesa sharing activities can continue so that it can continue to be felt benefits for the community and blessings for unesa itself. (Hasna/zam)
