Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA —Surabaya State University (UNESA) team benchmarking the MBKM quality assurance system at Hasanuddin University Makassar (Unhas) on Sunday-Monday, 1-2 October 2023.
This activity is intended to compare and evaluate existing practices in the UNESA MBKM quality assurance system with best practices at other universities.
On the other hand, UNESA and Unhas can identify the strengths and weaknesses of their respective quality assurance systems, and find ways to improve practices that are less effective.
The output of this activity, said UNESA Academic Director, Prof. Dr. Fida Rachmadiarti, M.Kes., namely best practices that can be applied as a reference for developing UNESA MBKM quality measurement features.
"The results will provide a reference for implementing quality assurance for MBKM activities. This will be used to support the success of UNESA Academic Quality Assurance-MBKM activities," he explained.
With By benchmarking the MBKM quality assurance system, universities can improve the quality of the education they provide.
In addition, to ensure that the standards applied are equivalent to other universities, and achieve the goals of the MBKM program more effectively.
Dr. Harmanto, M.Pd., a lecturer involved in this activity, said that this agenda was included in the Independent Campus Competition Program (PKKM).
The choice of Unhas as a benchmark is because the Unhas MBKM quality assurance system is already established and ranked 1 in Eastern Indonesia.
"Another consideration is that Unesa and UNHAS have partnered in implementing the tridharma of higher education," he explained.
