Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA–Around 100 UNESA retirees visited the UNESA campus in Lidah Wetan in the context of friendship and tourist visits. The visit to the UNESA Lidah Wetan campus and its surroundings will take place on Monday, December 20, 2021, at the UNESA Free Learning Lab, Lidah Wetan Campus.
On this occasion, present Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes as the Chancellor of UNESA, along with the ranks of the vice chancellors and the ranks of the deans around UNESA. During this visit, the participants toured around the UNESA Lidah Wetan campus. Drs. Alimufi Arief, M.Pd. The Chair of the Committee as well as the Chair of the UNESA IKA said that the activity was aimed at connecting UNESA retirees to the current leaders and officials.
"As soon as they entered here, the response of the retirees was very positive," said the former Head of LPPM UNESA. It is clear that the retirees have pride in seeing the progress and development of UNESA which is getting better and better. He was grateful for the warm welcomes given by UNESA leaders and officials. "Retirees have a hand," said Alimufi.
The Chancellor of UNESA in his speech stated that UNESA retirees are people who have contributed to the development of UNESA from time to time. What UUNESA officials are currently doing is only continuing what was started by their predecessors. In the current era, of course, there are many challenges that UNESA must be ready to face.
He continued, Joglo (Gajebo) in the Lab. Merdeka Learning will be named after UNESA figures who have contributed greatly to UNESA. "This achievement is thanks to the encouragement, support, and prayers of the seniors who I respect," he said.
In this year's UNESA Anniversary, UNESA managed to get many gifts in the form of awards and extraordinary achievements. The Unesa Chancellor also provided a way for UNESA retirees to continue to provide input and guide UNESA's future direction.
This visit is also a form of celebration of the 57th Anniversary of UNESA by IKA UNESA, by re-exploring campus and all its developments from time to time.
