Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya-The Surabaya State University Retirees Association held a Halalbihalal with the theme 'The Beauty of Togetherness during the Covid-19 Pandemic' at the IP Office of Unesa Ketintang, Saturday, (5/6/2021). The event was attended by around 50 retirees, most of whom were former Unesa leaders.
Unesa Retired IKA Chairperson Ali Mufi (Former Head of LPPM Unesa) expressed his appreciation for the togetherness spirit of Unesa retirees who are still well-maintained and maintained so that the event can be held.
Likewise, the remarks from the Unesa retired supervisor, Prof. Dr. Sunarto, M.Sc (Former Vice Chancellor 4 Unesa) said that togetherness is very important to motivate each other and build synergy. Because it must continue to be treated in the future. He added that Unesa retirees should maintain their health during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dr. Turhan Yani, M.A as the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law UNESA as a lecturer conveyed several things in the 1442 H halalbihalal momentum. First, regarding the importance of spreading greetings that mean peace, safety, welfare, and tranquility to everyone, especially in daily social interactions.
Second, about cultivating the spirit of helping others. According to him, goodness must continue to be done for the common good. Third, about the importance of strengthening the ties of friendship or brotherly ties to others as part of the dimension of social worship (Hablun Minannas).
Furthermore, fourth, about the importance of carrying out worship and establishing both obligatory and sunnah prayers. "In order to live a peaceful and calm life, in addition to increasing obligatory worship, it is also important to get used to getting up at night to pray tahajjud," he said (Unesa Public Relations)
