Regarding the number of participants, Sukarmin said that the number of test participants this year was quite high from previous years. Of the 20 sessions prepared, there were 21 sessions held, due to consideration of the number and distribution of participants.
"We have spread the questionnaire, why many participants chose tests at Unesa. The reason is because they chose study programs at Unesa, their access was close, and because there were friends or siblings who studied at Unesa," explained Sukarmin.
The number of participants made the examination applied even more tightened. Layered examination is done, not only relying on metal detector , but also a manual examination according to the procedure.
Even, participants are not allowed to wear footwear entering the test room. As a substitute, participants wore footwear prepared by the committee in each test room. Participants are not allowed to bring the goods or tools that are prohibited.
"We added the examining team in all locations. The committee checked various possible tools, or recording or documentation of the question either through buttons, dental braces, ribbons or hairpin, earrings, glasses, and others," Sukarmin explained.
Input such as the provision of transit space and the addition of shoe racks in all test locations becomes a reinforcement in the implementation of the next test, or UTBK the following year. []
