Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA—Surabaya State University (UNESA) continues to expand its international network by renewing a Memorandum of Understanding or MoU with the National Taichung University of Science and Technology (NTUST), Taiwan, on Friday, December 20 2024.
This collaboration meeting took place in the meeting room on the 8th floor of the UNESA Rectorate Building, Campus II Lidah Wetan. The NTUST delegation was led directly by the president of NTUST, Prof. Tung-Shou Chen marks an important step in strengthening academic and research cooperation between the two universities.
UNESA Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Development, Cooperation and Information and Communication Technology, Martadi, revealed that since the first MoU signed in November 2019, various collaborations have been successfully implemented.
One of the main achievements is the joint research that began in October 2023 between the UNESA Office Administration Education Undergraduate Program and the NTUST Information Management Department.
"This program has strengthened lecturers' international exposure, encouraged institutional synergy, and promoted best practices in research," said the UNESA education expert.

The leadership of UNESA and NTUST is committed to making this collaboration have an impact on improving the quality of the tridharma of higher education.
This MoU update opens up the scope wider cooperation, including student and lecturer exchanges, as well as research projects based on the latest technology. As a university committed to internationalization.
UNESA hopes to expand its research capacity, especially in applied technology and innovation.
In addition, this meeting includes discussions on exploring new opportunities, such as UNESA's involvement in the latest technology projects being developed in Taiwan.
With this collaboration, UNESA students are expected to gain relevant global experience, while lecturers have the opportunity to be involved in research with NTUST academics.
