Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya - In order to accelerate the academic positions of head lectors and professors in accordance with the 2019 PAK PO, Unesa held a workshop for Unesa lecturers on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Director of Resources of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture, Dr. Mohammad Sofwan Effendi emphasized that there are 3 major components in the implementation of PO BKD (Lecturer Performance Burden). “Especially, synchronizing lecturer performance which has been adjusted to MBKM activities. Second, optimizing lecturer activities related to the implementation of the tri dharma of higher education. The third is synchronizing between BKD and sisters,” explained Effendi. In this context, lecturers will be facilitated in terms of administration, and PO PAK 2019 is used as the basis for lecturer credit scores.
Meanwhile, the provisions on the credit score for lecturer functional positions, according to the Kemendikbud Research and Technology Lecturer Credit Score Team, Prof. Dr. Sutikno, S.T., M.T., touched on the issue of regulatory policy from the previous to 2021 regarding the requirements for the proposed promotion of a professor's functional position. "The requirements for the proposed promotion include a doctoral education qualification, a minimum B accredited study program, a sufficient credit score, and a reputable international journal article," he said.
There are additional special requirements in the assessment of lecturer credit scores, namely the obligation to teach and guide undergraduate/diploma program students and have an educator certificate and lecturer identification number. In addition, the minimum DP3 is good and is not currently undergoing academic sanctions and employment penalties.
Based on Article 72 Paragraph 1 of Law No. 14 of 2005 concerning the main activities of lecturers including planning and implementing learning, guiding and conducting research, additional assignments and community service. Then the BKD according to the article is at least 12 credits per semester. (mad/vin)
