The activity that took place in the lobby of the Unesa Dormitory Building Campus II Tongue Wetan was attended by leaders, administrators, and dormitories. This momentum became a place for friendship, strengthening togetherness. Also, as a means of instilling personality, spiritual, and social values of the occupants of the dormitory.
In his remarks, Hijrin Fithroni from BPU emphasized the importance of character development in the context of the collective life of the dormitory. According to him, the dormitory is a miniature of the community. That's where students learn to live together, manage differences, and build values of responsibility and tolerance. Labschool Unesa 1 Surabaya, Dewi Purwanti conveyed about the character of generation Z in the world of work. He said that Gen Z has an extraordinary advantage in the field of technology, but it is necessary to strengthen the strong character and spirit of collaboration.
"Don't be a strawberry generation, which is sweet outside, but easily fragile. The younger generation must be strong in facing pressure and learning from experience," he said.
He invited students to make Shawwal moments a turning point to strengthen sincerity, honesty, and ukhuwah Islamiyah. "Harmonious life starts from a clean heart and a straight intention," he said.
The enthusiasm of the participants was seen from the active interaction during the discussion and the solemn atmosphere during prayer together. Students get a new perspective in living campus and boarding life more mature.
This activity is a form of UNESA's commitment in producing graduates who are not only intellectually intelligent, but also morally and socially. Synergy between character training and spiritual approaches is expected to be a strong foundation in creating a generation of leaders who are integrity. []
