Unesa.ac.id., Surabaya-many ways to prevent sexual violence in the college environment, one Anti-Narcotics held by the Directorate of Prevention and Management of Strategic Issues in the Hall of the Faculty of Language and Literature (FBS) of Surabaya State University (Unesa) Campus 2 Tongue Wetan, on Monday-Kabu, 21-23 April 2025 (PPKPT). Both are work units that are in the auspices of the Directorate of PPIS.
Director of PPIS, Mutimmatul Faidah said that this activity was intended to provide education to students about the dangers and impacts of abusing narcotics, drugs, liquor, and other addictive substances. "We focus on this to prevent students from abusing narcotics, illegal drugs, including from promiscuity," said the Professor of Unesa.
The socialization was carried out at the Faculty of Language and Literature (FBS) and in all faculties on an ongoing basis. In addition to the socialization material, the booth campaign provides educational games such as monopoly and spin wheel which carries the theme of mental health and HIV prevention.
In a monopoly game, cards are modified by inserting questions about mental health and self-development, so that participants can get to know and understand themselves as an individual.
On the other hand, the spin wheel educational game is designed to educate participants about understanding, impact, and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases.
Paper that contains mythical information or facts about sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV for example.
Salsabela Firdaus, Student of Guidance and Counseling Study Program (BK) of the Faculty of Education (FIP) which is one of the visitors at the booth campaign reveals his enthusiasm and experience.
"Incidentally my friend is part of the SMCC, so it feels very proud to see the works of FIP students can be exhibited and seen by the public," he explained.
