The details are 74 gold, 66 silver and 57 bronze. Until the 11th day of the PON at the Lukas Enembe Stadium, 19 Athletes from the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) presented dozens of medals for East Java.
There are athletes who are still active UNESA students and also alumni who have just graduated some time ago. While the medals brought by UNESA athletes were 21 medals. The athletes in question are:
- Abdul Muin, a student of Sports Coaching Education (PKO) in the Sepak Takraw sport, won the men's team double gold and silver in the Men's Wuadrant.
- Dedi Setiadi Suryo, a student of Physical Education, Health and Recreation in Takraw, won gold and silver.
- Jelena Sandra Sayidina Lesmana from the PKO study program in the women's individual gymnastics sport won gold and won silver in the women's team event.
- Wahyu Anggoro Tamtomo from the PKO study program won gold in the 50 m surface diving men's pool.
- Adinda Larasati Dewi, a PKO student in Swimming, won three gold medals in the 100 m butterfly, women's 800 m freestyle and 10,000 m women's open water swimming.
- Billa Dwi Alfiantoro together with Dhiemas Bayu Putra Agha and Sigy Kanadela in the fencing sport won silver in the men's team number, bronze in the men's team number, and another bronze in the men's individual category.
- Rozanah Shassani Nublah in the Rhythmic Gymnastics sport won silver in the individual event.
- Ronaldo Ferga Gerda won silver in the men's team gymnastics event.
- Rafi Arofah Dirgantari won bronze in the shooting sport of the women's 50 m rifle 3 position team number.
- Paragra Duncan T.N.F.S also won bronze in the men's 10 m air rifle team shooting event.
- Aldento Brillian Bara Pratama won bronze in Muathay.
- Rizki Nur Fadila and Aprila Dwi Rahayu won bronze in Tae Kwon Do in the Women's Poomsae Team.
- Andre Anggoro, along with Andrea Guntara, Ferdian Fathur, Ilham Wiranata, Malik Fajar, Muhammad Hendri and Moch Fathur Rohman, won bronze in the men's team Indoor Hockey.
The First Gold of East Java won by UNESA Athletes

Besides gold, he continued, there were several silver and bronze medals that were won by UNESA athletes in various sports. Some of them, namely Ronaldo Ferda Garda, D-4 Vocational Sports Coaching Education, won silver in the Gymnastics branch. Then Christina M. Claudia, Communication Science for the 64 kg women's weightlifting branch and Rizky Nur Fadilah from the Health Education and Recreation Taekwondo branch won bronze.
Optimistic that East Java can overtake West Java
He continued, this was only a temporary gain and he was optimistic that UNESA athletes could still contribute some more gold in several leading sports during the XX PON in the next few days.
