Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA - The State University of Surabaya (UNESA) again held a virtual campus expo on Friday, July 8, 2022. This activity was intended to socialize the acceptance of new students through the SPMB or independent pathway at UNESA.
The Head of the New Student Admissions Division, UNESA Admissions Unit, Awang Dharmawan, S. Ikom., M.A., explained that this year UNESA opened four selection groups for new student admissions on the independent path.
First, the Non-Test group or the national UTBK pathway. This pathway is intended for participants who already have UTBK 2022 scores. In other words, this pathway only uses UTBK scores and there are no more tests or exams. Participants may choose two study programs, both Science and Technology and Social Sciences.
Second, the achievement group. This pathway is intended for participants who have achievements in a number of fields. This achievement path consists of; 1) religious achievements (Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Confucianism). There are Islamic religious achievements through the pesantren, tahfidz and MTQ routes. 2) sports achievements, 3) artistic achievements, and 4) leadership achievements. For participants who have excelled in these fields, you can take advantage of this one path.
Third, the TMUBK Undergraduate and Applied Bachelor groups. This test group is computer based (TMUBK). Fourth, the disability pathway, which is of course intended for participants with disabilities.
Awang added that the UNESA independent registration schedule for the UTBK test group had already taken place and the results were announced on July 3, 2022. Then, the achievement group. Registration ends 5 July 2022, selection on 7 July 2022 and announced on 11 July 2022. Results will be announced on 13 July 2022.
Then for the TMUBK Undergraduate and Applied Bachelor groups. Registration opens on 4-13 July 2022. The selection will be held on 16-19 July 2022. The results will be announced on 23 July 2022. Rindu Puspita Wibawa, S.Kom., M.Kom., from PPTI UNESA said that computer-based tests have been implemented in the last 3 years. Therefore, he made sure that all preparations had been made by the team so that the test could run smoothly and safely.
For the needs of computer-based tests. There are several preparations that participants must consider before carrying out the test, such as the recommended device such as a PC or laptop, ensuring the browser is updated to the latest version and an adequate network.
