In his remarks, Endang Sri Wahjuni said that this blood donor was a form of invitation to the community and the community to donate blood as part of the form of concern for others.
"This blood donor is related to the health sector and it is important for health and many who need it. Besides this, we also hold a Medic Run that can be followed by all levels of society on May 25," he said.
Caturia Sasti Sulistyana, Coordinator of the event said that, this activity was a form of contribution to UNESA to those in need. It is hoped that a drop of blood from the community can help the recipient, so that it is more enthusiastic to live healthy.
This activity is able to produce about 100 blood bags, which are then distributed to those in need. He hoped that this activity could have an impact on the health of the community, and the community.
Agi Harliani Soeharliani, Soetomo Surabaya said that in addition to blood donations, this collaboration was also packaged in the form of education the importance of blood donation for the health of donors and for the recipient.
"The factors that most affect health are the environment and behavior. When we want to become donors, then donors must be healthy. The ideals of becoming blood donors are motivated to always be healthy," he explained.
Deputy Chancellor II for Legal, Management, Finance, Resources and Business, Bachtiar Syaiful Bachri also donated blood on today's agenda. He appreciated the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Unesa who had initiated the activity.
"This activity is very positive, especially in order to help others, because blood is an unexpected and sudden need," he added.
This activity was welcomed by the community. Latifah Borneo Putri Ifani, semester 4 student, PGSD S-1 Study Program, Faculty of Education (FIP) revealed that this activity was important. He also felt happy because he escaped at the examination stage and could donate his blood.
"Hopefully the blood taken can be useful for others and in the future can participate in donor activities again because this is my fourth donor, hopefully it can increase," he concluded.
