Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-One of the student exchange programs is intended to encourage students to develop their potential, innovate and contribute to developing the country. That was what UNESA emphasized in the Welcoming Ceremony Credit Transfer Tarlac University with a number of Indonesian and Philippine universities on Monday, February 14, 2022.
Tsurroya, S.S., MA as the Head of the Student Exchange and Research Internship Division of UNESA said that the student exchange program must be accompanied by an attitude that is open to differences and becomes a lifelong learner. In addition, he emphasized that young people must always be visionary, collaborate with various perspectives and be able to raise the name of the institution wherever they are.
He advised the participants to take advantage of these learning opportunities to gain experience and improve the competence of the field of study they are engaged in. “For example, studying abroad, try to bring back important supplies for ourselves, our campus, our families and even our country. That's why dig as much knowledge as possible, need an international network," he said.
The Welcoming Ceremony of Credit Transfer Tarlac University, Philippines was attended by UNESA, Surabaya Institute of Technology, IVET University Semarang, Muhammadiyah University of Parepare and a number of universities in the Philippines.
The student exchange program was held to realize quality Indonesian human resources. UNESA will always provide support for participants to develop themselves. Hopefully, through this program, adaptive and innovative UNESA students will be created as well as international networks. [UNESA PR]
