Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA—The positive impact of the collaboration carried out so far has resulted in Surabaya State University (UNESA) and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia agreeing to continue the collaboration which was signed virtually on Monday, December 4 2023.< /p>
The signing of the MoU with UiTM Puncak Alam Campus from UNESA was attended by the Director of ICT and Cooperation, Prof. Slamet Setiawan, M.A., Ph.D; Head of Sub-Directorate for International Affairs, Asrori, S.S., M.Pd; Head of the International Mobility Section, Muhammad Nurul Ashar, S.Pd., M.Ed; Head of the Public Information Section, Muh. Ariffudin Islam, S.sn., M. Sn., and other staff.
This collaboration is an effort to improve academic quality and open the widest possible opportunities for students to develop themselves through various programs such as student exchanges , lecturers and so on.
Asrori mentioned several programs that will be carried out in the future, such as student exchanges, KKN, and also research. "We encourage these students to be involved in international mobility programs through this collaboration. We hope that students will have experience, networks and international insight," he said.
The lecturer at the Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS) continued, previously, UNESA has sent students and lecturers to carry out several higher education tridharma programs except PKM from this collaboration. In the future, there are many other programs that are ready to be implemented, one of which is PKM.
"The plan is for UNESA to send its students to carry out the program KKN in community service on the UiTM campus. Hopefully this collaboration can involve all faculties. "Those who have collaborated with UiTM are FEB, FMIPA, FT and FBS," said Asrori.[]
