Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA - The New Study Program (Study Program) of the Faculty of Food Security (FKP), Surabaya State University (Unesa) implements the curriculum outcome based education (OBE) to ensure that graduates will be more relevant to the needs of the business world and industry.
The curriculum that is being prepared will be applied to five study programs namely, S-1 Aquaculture, S-1 Animal Biosciences, S-1 Food Technology and Agricultural Products, S-1 Agribusiness, and S-1 Biotechnology.
To finalize the preparation of the curriculum, FKP presents Sri Peni Wastutiningsih, a compilation team for the preparation of the 4.0 Industrial Higher Education Curriculum, Belmawa Dikti online on Monday, March 10, 2025.

The implementation of the OBE curriculum aims to develop a responsive and adaptive lecture system for the times and improve the quality of graduates who have superior competence.
"Through this curriculum, graduates are expected to have an attitude of confidence and ready to compete in the business world and industry with relevant and measurable competencies and skills," said the lecturer at Gadjah Mada University (UGM).
Dean of FKP Unesa, Nining Widya Kusnanik said, this activity was aimed at finalizing the curriculum to welcome new students of the academic year this year. In addition, also to equalize the perception of the OBE curriculum applied in the FKP Unesa Study Program.
He added, the OBE curriculum at FKP UNESA in it contains a learning system based teaching farm to provide direct experience of students by applying smart farming technology.
This curriculum has a number of advantages for students or graduates including, increasing the readiness of students or graduates entering the business world and industry, competencies that are equipped according to the needs in the field.
In addition, encouraging students to have critical, creative, and applicative thinking. Because implementing a competency-based evaluation system, not just values, the OBE curriculum allows students to increase their competencies on a sustainable manner. UNESA
