Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya-Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa) together with PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk conducted a socialization of the Kriya Mandiri Internship program on Monday (5/4/2021) to active students and alumni of Unesa. The event was held online through Zoom Meeting at 08.00-09.00 WIB.
On that occasion, Dr. Muhammad Sholeh, S.Pd., M.Pd., Chairman of Merdeka Learning Unit of Merdeka Unesa Campus and Muhammad Alfian as Human Capital Implementer of PT Bank Mandiri Area Gentengkali Surabaya, Dewi Tilawati as Assistant Vice President of PT Bank Mandiri Area Gentengkali Surabaya.
Muhammad Sholeh said that the Kriya Mandiri Internship program is a Corporate Social Bank Mandiri program in the field of education. The goal is to provide opportunities for new graduates or final students of Unesa to get to know the world of work and acquire skills, so that they can become skilled, competent and ready-made workforce candidates in the world of work.
The flow of the internship program consists of three stages, namely selection, training in class &on the job, and evaluation. In the selection stage there are administrative selection, initial interviews, psychological tests, final interviews, and health tests.
The stages are quite challenging, but the benefits are also many that participants can get. Starting from pocket money, health insurance, certificate of achievement incentive, risk assistance, and additional money study hours.
Muhammad Sholeh also said that through the socialization activities, PT Bank Mandiri wants to provide opportunities to Unesa to cooperate. Hopefully Unesa, students and alumni can take advantage of the opportunity. "This is a rare opportunity and this is an innovation and breakthrough of Bank Mandiri with Unesa in order to support the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka program," he said.
Dewi Tilawati said that the internship program is quite a lot of benefits for participants. Moreover, being able to join Bank Mandiri that has long crossed the banking world can provide its own value for participants and certainly quite a lot of other benefits.
"Yes of course the most important knowledge, experience, and participants can learn to develop themselves in a solid and productive work environment. Then participants can also earn income while studying online for final students," said Dewi. (aida/zam)
