Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA�Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), State University of Surabaya (UNESA) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the Directorate General of Village Economic Development and Investment, Ministry of Village PDTT, on Tuesday, August 8 2023 at the Vasa Hotel, Surabaya.
This FGD is a follow-up to the cooperation between UNESA and the Ministry of Village regarding the equalization of perceptions of the P3MD (Village Community Development and Empowerment Program) review Module for Orientation and Capacity. This is also the preparation of a new module.
Director of LPPM UNESA, Prof. Dr. H. Muhammad Turhan Yani, M.A., said that the LPPM team had prepared professional human resources. "A total of 18 experts from internal UNESA with their respective specifications and expertise. They will give them the task of reviewing and compiling training modules," he said. The TEKAD program targets 5 provinces in Eastern Indonesia which include East Nusa Tenggara, Maluku, North Maluku, Papua and West Papua.
He added, there are a total of 13 modules, of which 8 modules will be reviewed and 5 new modules. The new module consists of a village law module, a module on the use of village funds, a module on village community nutrition, a module on village inclusion and gender, and a module on Village SDGs. "We are trying to compile a module draft within the next 4-6 weeks, after which the module is ready for ToT," he added.
Turhan continued, his team will develop a special module for the coaching clinic stage. The module is aimed at around 590 villages that will just join the TEKAD program. This module contains an introduction to the TEKAD, GESI (Gender and Social Inclusion) programs, as well as Village Community Empowerment.
After going through the coaching clinic stage, they will be guided using the refreshing< module /em> TEKAD which discusses sustainable community empowerment and is trained to be a good facilitator. "UNESA as a module maker will also train prospective trainers who work in Eastern Indonesia," he explained.
The new module will be packaged more practically and easily understood for prospective trainers. The goal is so that people don't get bored if they only read the narrations, but also equipped with an attractive visual appearance. So that his expectations in terms of substance are fulfilled.
�So the output is not just a module, but must be equipped with 4 things including the module itself, worksheets, delivery method through PPT, and learning media which contains posters ; infographics; videographics; or tutorial videos. Everything is packaged in an LMS (Learning Management System)," he concluded. [*]
