Unesa.ac.id, JAKARTA — The Surabaya State University (UNESA) preparatory committee attended the 2024 Asean University Games (AUG) audience which was held in the Meeting Room, Building II, Floor 3, Setwapres, Jl. Betel Garden No. 14, Central Jakarta on 9 to 10 November 2023.
There are five members appointed directly by the Chief Executive, Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes., to oversee the presentation of progress in the AUG hearing.
Among them is the Vice Chancellor for Academic, Student and Alumni Affairs, Prof. Dr. Madlazim, M.Sc. Apart from that, there is Muchamad Arif Al Ardha, S.Pd., M.Ed., Ph.D., as Special Staff to the Chancellor; Then there is Dr. Mu'arifin, MPd., and Del Asri, S.Sc., M.Pd., as PP Bapomi; and Sukino as Student Affairs Coordinator for Belmawa, Ministry of Education and Culture.
For three days, the five people explained the progress of AUG preparations according to their fields for 5-10 minutes, which was witnessed directly by the Deputy for Human Development Policy Support and Equitable Development, Dr. Ir. Suprayoga Hadi, M.S.P, who was also accompanied by five of his staff.
The purpose of the hearing was to convey a progress report on the AUG preparations which will take place from 26 June to 6 July 2024. Apart from that, it was also to obtain regulatory support, as well as inviting representatives President to be present at the opening and closing ceremonies.
Muchamad Arif Al Ardha, said that the committee involved during the progress had completed several important steps such as preparing a technical hand book for preparation for the Head of Delegation Meeting, mapping the venue and coordinating with PIC from 9 universities, to administrative preparations from the secretarial sector.
"After this, an audience will be scheduled with the relevant Ministry and the Governor," he said.
With this audience, it is hoped that it can strengthen the work cooperation and coordination in preparations for AUG 2024, as well as providing optimal support for the success of this event involving universities throughout Southeast Asia. (*)
