Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya-The Department of Sendratasik, Faculty of Language and Arts UNESA again held a virtual music concert with the theme 'Harmonization in a Pandemic Period'. The event starts June 5, 2021 and is scheduled to last until June 19, 2021.
The concert, apart from being an event to show the best performance of the concert participants, is also a final project offering for the Performing Arts Management course for the Music Arts study program. The concert, which was broadcast live via the Unesa Official Music Arts Youtube Channel, featured five different performances from five groups. .
The first concert titled Memories in Melody was successfully held on Saturday, June 5, 2021. This first group performed a collaboration between a music concert and a mime drama. With the background of the pandemic, it is told of a character who goes to the campus where he is studying. The campus also seemed deserted, there were no learning activities or other student activities. He traced every corner of the classroom that reminded him of memories with friends before the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Chief Executive of the event, Abednego Ziposa Sabatnissan Budiyono, said that the combination of music concerts and mime dramas was a new work by 2019 Music Arts students. Even though it was not possible to hold live performances, he hoped that this virtual music concert would still entertain the entire audience. Lasting for 30 minutes, the show ended with the accompaniment of the song We Are the Champions. (meds)
