Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA - The Chancellor of the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) received a series of awards from various institutions this year. Most recently, UNESA Chancellor Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes., was awarded the Tan Hana Dharma Mangrva award from the East Java Regional Police at the commemoration of the 76th Anniversary of Bhayangkara at the East Java Police Headquarters with the theme “Precise Police Support Economic Recovery and Structural Reforms to Realize a Resilient Indonesia – Indonesia Grows' on 5 July 2022.
The award was given as a form of appreciation for cooperation in the fields of education and science. East Java Police Chief Inspector General. Pol. Dr. Nico Afinta S.IK., SH. MH., stated that as part of the precise commitment of the Police, the East Java Police should give awards to institutions and figures for their participation in developing the East Java region in various fields.
He hopes that the award can motivate all parties to make the best contribution to the advanced and growing Indonesian society, nation and state. He also hoped that the cooperation between the National Police in this case the East Java Regional Police with various parties would be maintained and strengthened. "This synergy is the key to our progress together," he said.
Elsewhere, Cak Hasan expressed his gratitude for the appreciation and award. According to him, it is a motivation to consistently provide the best for the advancement of education and the development of science in East Java and Indonesia in general.
For the man who has just been inaugurated as Chancellor of UNESA for the second period, 2022-2026, it is true that advancing the region must have a strong synergy between the ranks of the regional government or provincial government, Polri, TNI, universities and various other institutions. "UNESA, for example, what programs are needed in the community, what can be collaborated with the provincial government, regional police or other institutions. Of course there is room for collaboration. I think that was done yesterday and needs to be strengthened in the future with the East Java Regional Police and their staff," he said.
UNESA cannot run alone, said Cak Hasan, without the role of the East Java Regional Police. Because of that, the One Steps in Front campus that he leads often receives assistance from speakers from the Regional Police for lectures, seminars or webinars at UNESA. "Some time ago there was also a seminar held, the speaker from the East Java Regional Police. We are grateful for the cooperation so far and hopefully the synergy will be stronger towards an advanced and superior East Java," he said.
He hoped that on the 76th anniversary of Bhayangkara, the Police would become a strong institution in protecting the community and becoming a precise institution towards an Advanced and Resilient Indonesia. "Together we work together to advance Indonesia, educate generations and prosper society. Greetings Precision," concluded Cak Hasan enthusiastically. (UNESA PR)
