Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya-As one of the Universities that fosters the 2021 Lecturer Internship Program, the State University of Surabaya held an opening ceremony as well as the introduction of Unesa leadership to 25 Unesa internship lecturers, on Tuesday 3 August 2021. This agenda became one of the momentums to welcome interns with all facilities and encourage improvement implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education in their respective campuses.
Dr. Syamsul Sodiq, M.Pd., Head of the 2021 Unesa Internship Lecturer Management, said that this internship program will take place online for four months starting from August 2 to November 30, 2021. He also said that these 25 young lecturers will carry out their duties according to their respective fields of study. , including PGSD, Economic Education, Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Mathematics Education, Sports Education, and History Education.
In his speech, Unesa Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nurhasan., M.Kes delivered by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Bambang Yulianto, M.Pd., welcomed the 25 internship lecturers who came from various universities throughout Indonesia. He invited intern lecturers to share knowledge and knowledge both about the effectiveness of the education system, implementation of independent learning in independent campuses, international accreditation, financial management, as well as about strengthening cooperation. "I hope all participants take advantage of this opportunity as well as possible, so as to provide useful experience and knowledge for participants," he said.
The event was continued with the introduction of Unesa leaders starting from the senate, rectorate ranks to the deans. Not only that, the Vice Chancellor for Planning and Cooperation, Dr. Sujarwanto, M.Pd. also signed an MoU with partner universities sending internship lecturers. Symbolically, this time it was represented by four university rectors, namely from STKIP Weteebula, Al Muslim University Aceh, Muhammadiyah University of Mataram, and Nahdlatul Ulama University of West Kalimantan. "Hopefully this MoU can continue into other collaborations and continue to collaborate to improve the quality of the implementation of the Tridarma of Higher Education in each university and in an effort to equalize the quality of higher education human resources throughout Indonesia," said Sujarwanto.
