Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA – The State University of Surabaya (UNESA) continues to strive to create informative public information disclosure. One of the efforts made is to hold an Information Development Workshop on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.
Dr. Sujarwanto, M.Pd., Deputy Chancellor for Planning and Cooperation at UNESA stated that the quality of public information services must continue to be improved and innovations that lead to effectiveness and service quality must continue to be presented. Moreover, in the near future UNESA will have the status of a PTN-BH.
"I often say that status transfer must be supported by the quality of human resources, the perspective must change, the way of working and management must be greater and achieve more," he said.
Aditya Nuriya as Expert Staff of the Central Information Commission explained that in improving the quality of services and public information disclosure, it is necessary to pay attention to various important factors, such as the protection of personal data and access to public information for persons with disabilities which are carried out in accordance with the laws and regulations.
As a public institution, UNESA certainly has several obligations, including 1) Setting service standards. 2) Appoint and determine PPID. 3) Establish and update the list of public information. 4) Provide facilities and infrastructure for public information services both electronically and non-electronically.
Then, 5) set the standard cost of acquiring copies of public information. 6) prepare and publish public information reports. 7) Submit a copy of the public information report to the information commission. 8) monitoring, evaluating and fostering the implementation of public information reports at the agency. 9) budgeting for the storage, documentation, provision and reporting of public information.
With reference to these points, there are 3 types of public information that must be published, namely 1) information that must be provided and announced periodically, 2) public information that must be announced immediately, 3) information that must be available at any time. .
Meanwhile, Juharyanto, Director of Planning, Ranking, Public Relations and Partnerships, State University of Malang (UM) explained that there are 3 elements of informative public bodies.
The packaging aspect of the presentation must be considered. Then fulfill every KIP questionnaire indicator document, appoint PPID and implement PPID K3P, as well as involvement of the leadership (chancellor) in every policy related to PPID.
In addition, it is also related to the condition of a clean and tidy room, the availability of various kinds of facilities that meet the needs of information services, and having a website/web/application that can be accessed by the public. All of this needs to be supported by competent, consistent, committed and caring human resources (K3P). [UNESA PR]
