STRONG DETERMINED: Accompanied by her parents, Ishmianna Nurfida Dwi Rahmadani took the UTBK test at UNESA Campus 2 Lidah Wetan.
Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA—Ishmianna Nurfida Dwi Rahmadani's determination and fighting spirit in taking the Computer Based Written Examination (UTBK) test deserves a thumbs up. The reason is, even though his health condition is not good, he still chose to come in a wheelchair to take the morning session test on the 1st floor of the T14 FBS Building, Surabaya State University (UNESA) on Sunday, May 5 2024.
After the test took place, the woman from Bojonegoro explained her condition. It turned out that he had an accident when he was about to leave for UTBK preparation lessons with his mother on March 28 2024.“We went by motorbike at normal speed. However, from the front there was also a motorbike that turned suddenly and ended up crashing. "I was conscious, but my leg was hit by someone's motorbike and my leg was fractured," she explained.
Ismianna continued, when I was at the hospital I was immediately examined, there were several tears on my leg and abrasions on my hand. After an X-ray, it turned out there was a crack in his left leg. Due to his serious condition, the operation was carried out on March 30.
“My feelings at that time were sad, confused, especially since it was supposed to be a month before the UTBK that I had to make solid preparations. "But because of the support of my parents and family, I chose not to give up, even though I was busy going to the hospital for routine checks and operations, I tried to keep studying," he said.

Ishmianna's preparations for UTBK this year have been long and hard, starting from taking offline and online lessons, looking for materials on various websites to routinely practicing questions. With that tough struggle, it would be a shame if it didn't continue.
"The material that I have studied a lot is still fresh in my memory, therefore I am still excited to take part in UTBK today so that I can pass the exam. "My dream major," he said.
The mother, Ana Wahyuningsih, who accompanied her child, said that because of the accident, her child had been down, but she still gave positive encouragement to keep him enthusiastic and rise from that condition.
“Trials always come suddenly, without us asking and without us realizing it. I am very grateful that I was able to survive that incident. "It's sad for sure, but we have to be strong to face it and continue to motivate my child to stay strong and not be discouraged from achieving his dreams," he said.
Ana Wahyuningsih hopes that the test her child takes will be optimal and can lead to her being accepted. in the study program and campus of his choice, namely the medicine study program at UPN Veteran Jakarta as the first choice, and medicine at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University as the second choice.[]
