Unesa.ac.id Surabaya - The first wave of Computer-Based Writing Test (UTBK) officially began simultaneously nationally on Saturday (13/4) with Surabaya State University (Unesa) as one of the organizers in the Surabaya area. Prof. Dr. Bambang Yulianto M.Pd Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs as well as the person in charge of UTBK Unesa said that the first day of the test was going well
& ldquo; Thank God it went well & rdquo; he explained.
This morning he visited all test locations held by Unesa starting on the tongue and ketintang campus and Unesa partners at Nahdhatul Ulama University Surabaya (Unusa) Sunan Ampel State Islamic University (Sunan Ampel State Islamic University) UINSA) SMK 1 and SMK 12 Surabaya.
The former Dean of the Language and Arts Faculty said the process on the first day was a good start in facing the next session. He hopes that the overall implementation of UTBK this year will run smoothly and produce a quality selection mechanism.
& ldquo; This year will be the transition from the old test model to the computer-based one in hopes of building a more transparent and accountable system. There is indeed a learning process here and there but we hope that everything will go well & rdquo; he explained
While the report from Drs. Slamet Setiawan M.A. P.hd Chair of the Unesa UTBK Committee said that the first day of the test was attended by 1504 participants in each session. According to Slamet the team continued to work to carry out the tests.
& ldquo; We continue to coordinate regularly for the initial implementation today. During the implementation the team always communicates related to developments that occur in various test locations & rdquo; he explained
The computer-based test became the first experience for some students one of them was Faisal. This student from Surabaya claimed to have prepared himself for the test today even though he did not deny that he was a little tense.
& ldquo; Nervous was early but I have studied and tried out so yes smoothly and hopefully the best results deh & rdquo; he explained
This Computer-Based Writing Test will take place simultaneously every weekend Saturday and Sunday with two sessions every day so that until the week of May 26 there will be twenty sessions. The results of this test will be the capital of students to register at public universities. (Public Relations)
