Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA—Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Surabaya State University (UNESA) received a visit from the LPPM Open University (UT) at the Lidah Wetan Campus Rectorate Building, on October 5 2023.
< p>This meeting is for the purpose of sharing about international community service programs (PKM). From UT, Dr. Teguh Prakoso, S.Pd., M.Hum., and Head of the PKM center; Prof. Dr. Imam Farisi, M.Pd., Secretary of LPPM.Apart from that, also present, Dr. Kurnia Endah Riani, Deputy Dean for Learning, Research and Community Service, Student Affairs; and FEB UT lecturer, Dr. Siti Aisyah.
The arrival of the delegation from LPPM UT was warmly welcomed by the leadership of LPPM UNESA in the Hall on the 6th Floor of the Rectorate. This visit is part of efforts to increase collaboration between the two universities in supporting students in developing quality International PKM.
Teguh Prakoso expressed his gratitude, because it had been received with great enthusiasm. Moreover, he and his team came to UNESA to share various service programs.
"Because we know this is an important part of creating a world-class campus, especially since we have transformed into PTN-BH," he said.
p>Prof. Dr. Muhammad Turhan Yani, Director of LPPM UNESA, stated that this meeting was the first step to establishing collaboration, especially research and community service. He hoped that this visit would open the door for closer cooperation in the future.

Furthermore, he explained the International PKM program that had been carried out by Unesa. "We created an International PKM scheme to increase UNESA's international recognition. We also prepared a system to make it easier to submit, implement, and monitoring PKM via SIMLPPM," he explained.
During this visit, UNESA LPPM provided information and experience regarding the management of International PKM, funding opportunities, and best practices in directing lecturers and leaders to implement international PKM programs.
At the end of this visit, LPPM UT will follow up by creating an International PKM program for UT lecturers, leaders and students. []
