Unesa.ac.id Surabaya & ndash; Starting from 2019 Unesa cooperated with USAID and Kemristekdikti to develop the Thematic Entrepreneurship Real Work Lecture (KKN) model. Following up on this the Unesa Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) dispatched 5 lecturers to attend the Training of Trainers (ToT) for the Thematic Entrepreneurship Community Service Module. The activity which involved 4 tertiary institutions in East Java was held on 23 s.d. April 25 2019 at the Ollino Garden Hotel Malang.
Muhamad Sholeh M.Pd. as the Head of Unesa KKN-PM Center explained that this activity was aimed at increasing the competency of Field Facilitator Lecturer (DPL) entrepreneurship KKN. Hopefully the knowledge gained can later be transformed to students through KKN education and training. Furthermore Sholeh also explained that this thematic entrepreneurship KKN module unfolded the concept of organizing transformative learning with learning models and methodologies for delivering the latest substances by involving the environment as a forum for learning to grow entrepreneurship.
From this activity going forward Unesa students It is expected to have the ability to describe locations explore the potential of human social natural resources and be able to formulate the direction of entrepreneurship programs that originate from village potential that can be carried out at KKN locations. In addition the ability of soft skills and hard skills possessed by students when graduating from college has high absorption in the business world and industry so that the performance of KKN at the national level can be measured by Kemristekdikti.
As a form of implementation of this activity on 17 June 2019 Unesa will send approximately 4600 students to KKN to Pasuruan Regency and Regency Nganjuk Through these activities students are expected to learn to live in a community and be able to develop and empower people with an entrepreneurial-based Thematic Community Service Program.
