Unesa.ad.id, SURABAYA-DPM FBS UNESA carried out monitoring and evaluation (monev) activities on Monday (27/09/2021) at the Tawangrejo Village Hall, Turi District, Lamongan Regency. The activity was attended by Dr. Trisakti, M.Sc., Dean of FBS UNESA, Syafiul Anam, P.hD Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni FBS, Arik Susanti, S.Pd., M.Pd as Assistant Lecturer for PHP2D DPM FBS, and Masbukhin, SH, Village Head Tawangrejo and village officials and PKK representatives from each hamlet.
The monitoring and evaluation is a follow-up to the local Holistic Village Development and Empowerment Program (PHP2D) that was carried out previously. Cindy Veronica, the head of PHP2D, explained that the activity was in the context of assessing or re-evaluating the programs that had been run previously. Is it according to plan, right on target or not.
He expressed his gratitude and gratitude for the support of the village in implementing the program. The community is also actively involved and gives their best contribution so as to create positive collaboration between universities and villages in building villages that are more empowered, prosperous and advanced in the future.
Through PHP2D, the students collaborated with villagers in order to develop innovations for processed catfish, apart from being abon catfish, catfish thorn sticks can also be made into catfish chips. Activities begin with training to mentoring. Village officials and youth organizations helped to make this activity a success. Villagers are also taught about product branding, marketing, to managing websites and making video processing which will be registered with Intellectual Property Rights.
Dr. Trisakti, M.Si advised that all team members need to optimize performance in the program, because not all students can get the opportunity to collaborate with villagers in encouraging the empowerment and welfare of rural communities. “This experience is not in the classroom.
