Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-Following up on complaints of alleged sexual violence, the UNESA Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (Satgas PPKS) continues to investigate, including involving several experts in investigating cases both in the Department of Law, FISH and at the Faculty of Language and Arts (FBS).
The Head of the UNESA PPKS Task Force, Dr. Mutimmatul Faidah, S.Ag., M.Ag., stated that his team is currently focusing on investigating. Those included in the team's investigation section were cases in the Department of Law and included allegations of sexual violence at the Language and Arts Faculty (FBS).
"That's all part of our investigation to completion," he said.
He added that during the opening of the hotline, there were victim complaints that were received by the Task Force. This is followed up and processed according to the case handling procedure at the PPKS Task Force.
In the investigation process, the PPKS Task Force involved several experts, including legal experts, psychology, sociology and doctors to explore and further study.
"This investigation must be completed, because our team consists of many experts and currently the case is entering the study stage," said Kasatgas.
According to him, it is up to the team to follow up on cases, the team cannot be careless, the victim's information needs to be investigated further, as well as the perpetrators, to what extent the violence was carried out, involving anyone who is being investigated.
In the investigation process, he continued, the Task Force went through several stages: complaints, investigations, studies and decisions on case status including sanctions.
From the complaints received and the possible findings of other cases, the Task Force went through the procedure as stated in the previous statement, namely calling the alleged victims and perpetrators and following up on information by collecting evidence.
