Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya- Student Regiment Unit 804 Surabaya State University held community service activities or "Karya Bakti" with the theme "Synergistic Student Regiment 804 to Realize The Tridarma of Higher Education in the Field of Education and Teaching, Community Service and Prevention of Covid-19".
The event was held in Jegreg Village, Modo Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency which was attended by 30 task forces from members of Satmenwa 804 Unesa under the responsibility of Doni Setyawan as Task Force Commander.
The event took place from 18–21 March 2021 with various series, ranging from education and teaching programs, mask sewing training, socialization of taruna coral, outbound, JAM (if I became), procurement of handwashing, and installation of signage.
The opening ceremony on Thursday, March 18, 2021 was held at Jegreg Village Hall. Then continued with the education and teaching agenda at TPQ. These activities are carried out regularly every night. Education and teaching activities are also conducted in several other educational institutions such as SDN Jegreg 2, SDN Jegreg 3 and SMP Ihyaul Ulum.
Then for the covid-19 prevention agenda in the community, namely through the socialization of health protocols and training in sewing masks for elementary school children guided directly by tailors and mask craftsmen in Jegreg village, Hanis Widayani. The training is certainly not just to make masks, but masks with a variety of motifs. As the children at SDN Jegreg 3 created, for example, they made masks with tie-dye motifs. The purpose of the activity is as a craft to increase children's creativity during the pandemic.
Next, hold a community service program with the theme "If I Become". The entire task force of Karya Bakti was deployed to jump directly into the field to help ease the work and efforts of the community in agriculture. Not only that, members of Satmenwa 804 Unesa provide healing and share the spirit in the pandemic through enterprising outbound and fun games with children in Jegreg village.
On the last day, Task Force Karya Bakti 2021 Satmenwa 804 Unesa carried out the clean work of the village along with coral cadets and local residents. Then distribute 10 units of handwashing for the public such as mosques, prayer rooms, and schools. Then the installation of signposts at several intersections of the village. The whole series of activities, then closed with the closing apple at Jegreg Village Hall.
"From start to finish, the activity was held in strict compliance with health protocols and under the supervision of the leadership of Satmenwa 804 Unesa, Dr. Theodorus Wiyanto Wibowo M.Pd and the Commander of Student Regiment Unit 804, Anton Suwito," said Task Force Commander, Doni Setyawan.
