Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-Hundreds of people from both students and the general public packed the staging room, Cak Durationm Building, UPT Taman Budaya East Java, Surabaya on Thursday, June 2, 2022 night. They watched the Performing Arts; Drama, Dance and Music organized by the Department of Ballet, Faculty of Language and Arts (FBS) State University of Surabaya (UNESA).
The event, known as D'tik Art 2022, was themed 'How Art You?' which was attended by Endah Sri Murwani or Endah Laras as guest stars. Endah Laras is an artist, dancer and singer from Sukoharjo. The activity was attended by the Head of the Sendratasik Department, Dr. Anik Juwariyah, M.Sc., the deans and the entire FBS academic community.

The head of the Sendratasik Department said that the festival was an offering from students majoring in the 2020 class. This activity was a student's final project and a requirement for passing the Production Management course. With this activity, students can really understand how production management is in the field.
"Theories they learn in class or the practices they do on a small scale are implemented in the form of festival activities like this," he said. “Hopefully this will be an important provision for them after attending production management courses. Their understanding and experience can certainly be a provision in future careers, "he said.
The festival featured six performances. It was opened with a monologue by Ma'rifatul who performed the script of Marina Dorluppe and Marsihati 'Stay Anak Mak' which is an adaptation of Putu Wijaya's work. In addition, the Mendem Dance performance from UKM KKM Dance UNESA. Then, the Gita Pramawisesa choir sang 2 songs, namely Besame Mucho and Seblang Subuh. Then, the performance of Goong Prada Management with the Satya Lambari dance.
Rama Suluh, the production leader said that the committee in charge of D'tik Art amounted to 81 people consisting of students from the 2018-2020 class and the event lasted for 4 hours. “D'tik Art stands for Drama, Dance, and Music. D'tik Art itself has the meaning that in managing a show there must be a decision every second that must be made," he said.

The ballet festival closed with a performance from Endah Laras in collaboration with USC (Unesa String Chamber) and also Keroncong Swara Gandem by performing 5 songs, namely Rek Ayo Rek, Bunga Orchid, Caping Gunung, Semanggi Surabaya and the last one, Ayo Guyu. The performance of the singer of Javanese keroncong songs and one of the actors in the film Soegija (2012) added to the atmosphere of the festival stage that was more colorful and meaningful.
