Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA–The State University of Surabaya (UNESA) held a meeting to launch the SIM-PAK (Lecturer Questionnaire Assessment Information System) application on Thursday, January 20, 2022 on the 8th Floor, UNESA Rectorate Building, Lidah Wetan Campus. The activity, which was also accompanied by a simulation of filling out the application, was held online and offline.
On that occasion, UNESA Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes., the ranks of vice chancellors, directors of vocations, heads of general and finance bureaus, lecturers and staff around UNESA. Besides that, Prof. Dr. Budi Jatmiko, M.Pd., Prof. Dr. Sarmini, M. Hum., Prof. Slamet Setiawan, M.A., Ph.D., Head of PPTI and UNESA SIM-PAK Development Team, Coordinator of the Legal and Civil Service Working Group, Sub-Coordinator of the Legal and Civil Service Working Group and Central Personnel Manager.
UNESA Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes., said that the SIM-PAK application can change the concept of lecturer assessment towards a more advanced and superior UNESA. With this application, you can monitor and make it easier to find out the results of the lecturer's questionnaire assessment. "So, filling in the performance of employees and lecturers can be neater and avoid scattered or lost documents," he said.
In addition, it is also the basis for higher education and as career support to anticipate data requests from the ministry. "Because we were asked before, but our side is still confused and there are data errors that are still not optimal. With this application, of course, problems like this will not happen again," he said.
At the same time, Prof. Dr. Sarmini, M.Hum., as Head of PPTI and UNESA SIM-PAK Development Team gave a speech before starting the guide regarding filling out SIM-PAK to invited guests. After giving simulations and tutorials, there were a number of questions from professors, lecturers and staff.
One of them is from Prof. Dr. Budi Jatmiko, M.Pd who responded regarding the application. He hopes that before applying for a promotion or position, a permanent assessment is needed. "I'm afraid that I will be confused about whether the value is enough or not. Then the case when submitted was later rejected on the grounds that it did not meet the components," he said. [UNESA PR]
