Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-Besides English, German also has an important position in international languages. This is due to Germany's strategic position as an industrial country and a superpower in Europe. So of course, the ability to speak German in global relations is also important for the current generation.
Learning German can be done at the State University of Surabaya (UNESA). The campus which is led by Cak Hasan has a German Literature study program that provides teaching on German language skills starting from zero for all new students. The new students in the orientation program of the Department of Student Association (HMJ) will also be provided with lessons on the basics of German which are guided directly by their seniors.
In addition, the graduate profile is not only directed to be able to speak German, but also to have other soft skills. "In German Literature, our graduates' profiles are directed at certain areas of translators, especially in the fields of tourism and journalism, which of course can provide broad career opportunities both during and after graduation," said Head of the German Literature Study Program, Yunanfathur Rahman, S.S., M.A.
