Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-The State University of Surabaya (UNESA) welcomed the visit of the Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Ma'arif group, Lamongan on the 9th Floor of the Rectorate Building, Lidah Wetan Campus, on Monday, January 17, 2022.
The visit, which is part of the UNESA Expo 2022, was welcomed by the Head of the UNESA Admissions Division, Awang Dharmawan, S.Ikom., M.A. He explained that the student admission process at UNESA has many paths that prospective registrant students can choose from. “One of the paths that can be chosen is the achievement path. There are sports, religious, artistic achievements and others," explained Awang.
He hopes that MA Ma'arif Lamongan students can send their best sons and daughters to join UNESA," he said.
The UNESA Expo 2022 was attended by 21 students of class X and XI majoring in Social Sciences (IPS) and 10 companions from the teacher and head of MA Ma'arif Lamongan, Kiai H. Faturrahmin.
In his speech, Kiai Faturrahmin stated that there were three students who had been successfully educated by UNESA as LPTK universities. According to him, the three students in question have succeeded in becoming successful people who can improve the economy of the surrounding residents. "UNESA for us is the hope to develop the dream of becoming a madrasa that can be useful for the surrounding community," said Kiai Faturrahman.
Meanwhile, Vinda Maya Setianingrum, S.Sos., M.A. Head of UPT Humas UNESA explained in detail and in a structured way regarding the facilities and programs as well as superior study programs at UNESA. "UNESA has 78 study programs, of course we hope that all of you (students, ed) have prepared themselves well to be able to join and process with UNESA," he said.
In addition, the Head of UNESA Admission, Dr. Sukarmin, M.Pd., added that, in general, there are three entrances to UNESA; SNMPTN, SBMPTN and SPMB. In addition, UNESA also opens another path, namely the achievement path.
"UNESA opens opportunities for MA Ma'arif Lamongan's sons and daughters who have talent and have won district level competitions, especially national ones, can register through this route," he said. [UNESA PR]
