
Several principals from private vocational schools in Zone 06 of Jember Regency, who are part of the MKKS, visiting UNESA.
Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA—The State University of Surabaya (Unesa), through the Faculty of Vocational Studies, received a visit from the Association of Private Vocational School Principals (MKKS) for Zone 06 of Jember Regency, held at the Faculty of Vocational Studies Building, Campus 1 Ketintang on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
This visit aims to strengthen cooperation between vocational high schools, universities, businesses, and industries, to improve the quality of vocational education and the readiness of graduates to face the workforce.
The delegation that attended this visit consisted of principals and representatives from various private vocational schools in Jember Regency, including SMK PGRI 3 Tanggul, SMK Ma'arif Bangsalsari, SMK Full Day Bustanul Ulum, SMK Plus Darussalam Bangsalsari, SMK PGRI 4 Tanggul, SMK Mamba'ul Khoiriyatil Islamiyyah Bangsalsari, and more.
The Deputy Dean 2 of Unesa's Faculty of Vocational Studies, Abdul Hafidz, warmly welcomed this visit as a form of cooperation between vocational education and industry.
"We want to make the Faculty of Vocational Studies a center for skill development based on industrial needs. Hopefully, vocational high schools and universities can be more aligned in producing graduates who are ready to work and highly competitive," he said.
