Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya-The State University of Surabaya (UNESA) held the Unesa Virtual Campus Expo 2021 on Monday (21/06/2021). The online New Student Admissions (PMB) socialization event presented two speakers, namely Awang Dharmawan, S.Ikom., M.A., as the Head of the PMB Division at the Admissions Unit and Vinda Maya Setianingrum, S.Sos., M.A. as the Head of UPT Public Relations Unesa.
This activity was held in order to convey information on the selection of new student admissions (SPMB) UNESA to prospective participants. This year, UNESA opens 10 independent pathway options or SPMB for undergraduate and vocational programs for the 2021/2022 academic year.
Awang Dharmawan explained that in general there are two paths provided by UNESA for SPMB, namely the non-test route and the test route. The non-test track includes the national computer-based written test (UTBK), religious achievements, sports achievements, artistic achievements, leadership, and disabilities. The results of the UTBK path selection were announced on Monday night (21/06) at sipenmaru.unesa.ac.id.
In addition, there are also overseas scholarships (LN) and cooperation with city, district, and provincial governments that already have an MoU agreement with UNESA.
As for the test path, there is a computer-based Unesa entrance test (TMUBK) and a D4 Vocational/applied bachelor's path. "For terms and conditions as well as further information can be accessed on social media @official.unesa or www.admisi.unesa.ac.id," said the man who is usually called Awang.
In addition, Vinda Maya Setianingrum said that every year UNESA always opens opportunities for the best sons and daughters through various special pathways to enter Unesa. There are about ten SPMB lines this year.
The goal is to find the best participants and generations to join and advance with Unesa. "Because not all participants' abilities can be measured with the same standard, so Unesa opens a pathway for academic and non-academic achievements," he said.
He advised prospective UNESA SPMB participants to prepare themselves as best and as much as possible. So that they can meet the criteria to enter and study at Unesa this year. "For prospective students, they can use these routes. The most important thing is to start preparing yourself and all the required documents from now on," he said.
The SPMB for the Unesa UTBK non-test track will be held from June 14-18. Then the achievement track is opened from June 14-25. Then the disability track, TMUBK, and the collaboration route are opened from June 21 to July 6th. The first batch of applied undergraduate pathways will be opened on June 21-6 July and the second batch on July 21-27 2021. (Unesa Public Relations)
