Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA–The implementation of the Service Excellence Training (SET) for UNESA staff ended on November 10, 2021. The closing was officially held at the UNESA Rectorate Building, Lidah Wetan Campus. The training, which was held from November 1-10, was in collaboration between UNESA and John Robert Powers.
UNESA Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes., stated that the training was an effort to improve the quality of human resources (HR) in welcoming UNESA's transformation from PTN-BLU to PTN-BH. According to him, the transition of status to PTN-BH provides greater autonomy as well as greater responsibility in the future.
He hopes that this training can improve the competence of human resources and encourage the improvement of service quality and institutional governance at UNESA. UNESA's human resources must have integrity, commitment, discipline and collaboration in bringing about effectiveness and innovation in various fields and divisions. "Through this university, we serve and contribute to a strong and growing Indonesia," he said enthusiastically.
The closing ceremony was attended by the leadership of UNESA, the John Robert Powers team, the organizing committee and 66 training participants. Previously, the Deputy Chancellor for General Affairs and Finance, Suprapto, S.Pd., M.T., stated that the training participants were unit heads, coordinators, sub-coordinators and education staff who worked in the service department directly. “We have to change the mindset from PTN BLU to PTN BH. We must be more responsible, more creative and bring innovation to the country," he said. [UNESA PR]
