The first speaker, Welly Suryandoko, S. Pd, M. Pd, one of the Sendratasik lecturers, explained about the world of arts in the midst of a pandemic. The arts sector declined significantly during the pandemic, as support from the government was very limited. "In fact, art can help public sanity in the midst of a pandemic," said Welly.
One form of art is theater, and within the theater there are monologues that are most often presented to express thoughts aloud. Monologue itself can be done digitally or on stage. "Between digital monologues and on stage, of course, has a different portion, especially for vocal and physical points," he explained.
Welly also said that in theater, self-management is also very important to control many things in humans, one of which is emotion. "A person must not be thirsty for work without having self-control," said Welly.
The second speaker, Dr. Indrayudo, S.Pd., M.Pd., Ph.D, Lecturer in Performing Arts Management UNP explained related to 'Market in the sense of Art Management'. He said that the types of markets aimed at must apply to the world of performing arts and crafts.
This second material concentrates on the art of dance. The production and marketing strategy that is carried out must give birth to a dance that is oriented towards the creative industry. "The performance director has an important role in the arrangement of the events held," said Indra.
During a pandemic, there are two stages that can be used. The first stage is the place to work on, which means using the stage in real terms. Both stages are marketed for shows that sell productions online.
Novdally Fillamenta, who is the Music Director, Arranger and Violinist, was the last speaker at the event. He conveyed related to art management in music performances. In a musical performance, it always includes three things, there are players, audiences and messages, just like any other art performance.
There are three functions of the performing arts, namely for ritual means, aesthetic presentation, and entertainment. A music that is produced in the show, will make the audience feel many things. Starting from aesthetics or beauty, happy entertainment between musicians and spectators, to ritual facilities that are made so solemn. (Public Relations of Unesa)
