Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA—Prof. Dr. Siti Nur Azizah, S.H., M.Hum., resigned from the position of Deputy Chancellor IV for Planning, Development, Cooperation and Information and Communication Technology at Surabaya State University (UNESA). This was conveyed by the Chancellor of UNESA Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes., on Friday, December 22 2023.
The Chancellor, who is familiarly called Cak Hasan, said that his deputy had resigned at the beginning of this week. The reason is because there are personal responsibilities that must be carried out and fulfilled outside UNESA. "He said personally that he wanted to focus for a while outside campus, because he had a mandate that had to be carried out," said Cak Hasan.
For that reason, the Chancellor held a meeting to elect the acting vice chancellor (Plt) field IV UNESA temporarily on Wednesday, December 20 2023. The results of the meeting decided that Dr. Bachtiar Syaiful Bachri, M.Pd was given the mandate as Acting Deputy Chancellor IV UNESA who officially started his duties on 20 December 2023.
For your information, Siti Nur Azizah was appointed as Deputy Chancellor IV UNESA on 30 January 2023. While leading in the fields of Planning, Development, Cooperation, and Information and Communication Technology, Siti Nur Azizah helped encourage UNESA's internationalization.
She actively expanded UNESA's cooperation network with various domestic and foreign partners and even involved many institutions on the blue continent , Europe. It also succeeded in presenting a number of awards for the 'Home of Champions' campus at the national level, both in the fields of cooperation, public relations and public information disclosure. []
