Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA– The State University of Surabaya in collaboration with the Surabaya City Health Office held a second dose of Astrazaneca Vaccine Raid at the UNESA LP3 Building, Lidah Wetan Campus on Saturday, November 6, 2021. The vaccination was a continuation of the first dose of Vaccine Invasion which was previously held at Graha UNESA.
Dr. Heni Agustina as the Field Coordinator and Head of the Lidah Kulon Health Center explained that there are as many as 500 quotas provided for both the UNESA community and the general public. Registration of vaccine recipients is done online and self-service is open from 08.00-14.00 WIB.
"We are pursuing vaccinations to accelerate the achievement of herd immunity in Surabaya and East Java in general," said Heni. He added that the Surabaya City Health Office cooperated with many parties to open vaccination points in several places in Surabaya.
In administering the vaccination, UNESA through SMCC also collaborated with a team from the Lidah Kulon Health Center as many as 5 medical personnel, Made Health Center 2 medical personnel, Bangkingan Health Center 2 people and Bhakti Dharma Husada Hospital (BDH) with 4 medical personnel. SMCC also helps and facilitates this activity through volunteers.
Rochmatul Ulum, one of the participants admitted that he was relieved after receiving the second dose of injection. According to him, it can increase immunity and minimize the spread of Covid-19. According to him, vaccination is part of the effort, but what is more important is maintaining health and implementing health protocols wherever they are. "Thank you PemKOT and UNESA and Puskesmas for holding this vaccine attack, hopefully in the future there will be more vaccine attacks considering that there are still many who have not received the second dose," he said.
