Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-The State University of Surabaya (UNESA) signed an MoU of cooperation with the Regional General Hospital of Bhakti Dharma Husada (RSUD BDH) Surabaya on Wednesday, April 07, 2021. The cooperation was signed by the Director of RSUD BDH drg. Bisukma Kurniawati, M.Kes and UNESA Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes.
The collaboration is intended to support the implementation of the Medical study program at UNESA and in terms of assisting medical study programs covering the fields of education, research and community service. In addition, to establish institutional relations with the principle of mutual benefit between the two parties.
The Chancellor of UNESA said that with this collaboration the Medical study program at Unesa could be realized immediately. Not only in the field of medicine, but in the future UNESA can collaborate in various fields to support the implementation of the tridharma of higher education that can be beneficial for both parties and the general public.
There are several things that will be carried out by the two parties going forward, namely the preparation of teaching staff in the field of medicine in the Medical study program, professional practice of medical study students on campus and hospitals, medicolegal, designing an education management system including capacity and many more.
"We have planned this new study program (Medicine, ed) carefully, we cooperate with related parties, including BDH," he said. "Hopefully it can run smoothly and this collaboration will not only benefit UNESA and BDH, but also for the general public," he said. [UNESA PR]
