D-3 Graphic Design Study Program students at the University of Surabaya (Unesa) have their own way to "sell themselves". Through the final assignment exhibition 36 students tried to promote their abilities while hoping to be looked at by the business community. " Friends have been offered to make designs in several industrial companies. So we hold an exhibition as well as self-promotion " said Arif Prasetyo Utomo chairman of the exhibition committee. Their works are exhibited at the Atrium Ground Floor Pakuwon Trade Center (PTC) from last Thursday to June 3. The exhibition was titled Rujak Cingur Blonde Roso Monggo Kerso. In addition there are also photography competitions on the spot comic exhibition exhibitions and graphic design seminars. The designs on display included advertisements for a restaurant childrens clothing boutiques magazines tabloids bookstores and lounges. Each student was asked to make four mandatory works in the form of posters advertisements for magazines billboards for public service announcements and brochures. For selected works they can display banners calendars TV ads and websites.
