Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA—Master of English Education Study Program, Faculty Language and Arts (FBS), Surabaya State University (UNESA) coordinated and discussed cooperation plans with one of the leading universities in the Pearl of the Sea Country of Orien, namely the College of Teacher Education, Benguet State University, Philippines in February 2024.
The online meeting was attended directly by the English Language Education Master's Study Program Coordinator, Ahmad Munir, S.Pd., M.Ed., Ph.D., and Dr. Muhaimin Abdullah, S.Pd., M.Pd. Meanwhile, the College of Teacher Education was attended by Chester B. Esnara, M.A., Ph.D., and Gleemoore Makie.
Ahmad Munir said that the agenda discussed opportunities and cooperation programs that could be carried out in the future for both together to support academic strengthening in the UNESA English Language Education Master's study program and in the College of Teacher Education.
There were a number of points discussed, such as the form of realization of cooperation, one of which was in the form of a lecturer exchange program. In the near future, UNESA will send lecturers to teach at the College of Teacher Education, Philippines, and vice versa.
The aim is to provide an academic atmosphere that transcends national borders to provide students with broader experiences and insights.

Having foreign lecturers teaching at UNESA can certainly provide ideas, insights and different points of view. There also occurred scientific and experiential conversations that transcended national borders.
"Apart from that, there were also other points discussed which we will later convey to the International Affairs Office for follow-up. Hopefully this can make a significant contribution "it is significant for the two institutions to improve the quality of the tridharma of higher education," he hoped.[]
