Unesa .ac.id Surabaya & : The 2019 PPKn competition which was previously called the PPkn Olympics has now entered its 6th year. Activities organized by the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program (PPKn) carry the theme "Towards Resilient Citizenship Formation" in the Industrial era 4.0 & rdquo; Held in Building I6 of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law around 160 participants along with accompanying teachers from high schools / MA / SMK throughout East Java also enlivened the PPKn 2019 Competition on Saturday (7/27).
A total of 43 schools from Java East and 1 school from Central Java compete to be the best and fight over a number of prizes that have been prepared. In the event the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law Dr. Totok Suyanto M.Pd. and Head of the Pancasila and State Citizenship Moral Education Department Dr. Oksiana Djatiningsih M.Sc.
In his remarks Dr. Oksiana explained that the 6th activity was not only to compete but to hone love and strengthen nationalism as a citizen. & ldquo; We will jointly uphold sportsmanship and for the younger generation will grow into strong citizens & rdquo; he explained.
Before opening the competition which was held for one day the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences also gave guidance to the participants and accompanying teachers who were present. According to him the PPkn 2019 competition has become something special. Not only competing in academic skills as well as knowledge about citizenship but also fostering a sense of nationality and love for the country.
For the first place winner SMAN 2 Kediri won the name of Dinda Kirana with the value of 481 the second winner won by Darul Ulum 1 High School on Ahmad Hanif with 461 points and the third winner was won by SMAN 1 Sidoarjo on the name of Widia with a value of 444.
