
UNESA PAUD PG lecturers equip teachers with how to instill Pancasila values and character from an early age through the application of differentiated learning.
Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—The PG PAUD lecturer team, Faculty of Education (FIP), Surabaya State University (UNESA) held training on preparing differentiated learning tools which was attended by dozens of PAUD teachers in Banyuwangi, on Tuesday, November 26 2024.
Dozens of teachers Early childhood education or PAUD Banyuwangi Regency took part in intensive training on preparing differentiated learning tools held by a team of PG PAUD lecturers at Surabaya State University (UNESA), on Tuesday, 26 November 2024.
The training entitled "Instilling Pancasila Character Values for PAUD Teachers" is intended to strengthen the instillation of Pancasila values and character from an early age in schools which prioritizes children's cognitive development.
This activity was attended by UNESA experts and practitioners who are competent in their fields, who delivered material about the importance of Pancasila character education from an early age.
One of the presenters, Sri Setyowati, said that the application of Pancasila values to early childhood must take an approach that touches on social, moral and cultural aspects in everyday life.
The application of Pancasila values can start from simple things, such as mutual cooperation, mutual respect, tolerance, discussion, deliberation. All of this has to get used to, so it can become character.
The next speaker, Nurul Khotimah, explained that a differentiated approach is very important to implement to realize effective and inclusive learning. So, each child can develop according to their learning speed and style.
Nur Ika Sari Rakhmawati, the presenter of this training, also emphasized that there are several things that need to be considered when preparing differentiated learning tools, such as individuality and student background factors.
"The participants (teachers) were trained on how to develop learning tools that can be adapted to the needs and potential of students," he said in the training which was well received by the participants and the school.[*]
