Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya-The State University of Surabaya was involved in discussions on the second day of the Socialization of Presidential Instruction Number 3 of 2019 concerning the Acceleration of National Football Development at the Vasa Hotel Surabaya, Saturday (5/6/2021).
The important issues that were discussed together in the discussion session were about strengthening football coaching and championships in PPLP and SKO, moving the Industry League 3 and the Student League. In addition, it also discusses the conditions of soccer coaching in the region and the strategy to win a soccer gold medal at the 2021 SEA Games.
On that occasion, UNESA Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes at one table with the Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. H. Zainudin Amali, S.E., M.Si, and Drs. Chandra Bhakti, M.Si Deputy of Sports Achievement Improvement of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Besides that, he was also side by side with Raffi Ahmad, Iwan Budianto, Raden Isnanta, Achmad Riyadh and Uden Wijaya Kusuma who were the speakers for the discussion.
The Unesa Chancellor is optimistic that the socialization as well as strategic discussions on the development of the football industry can be a breath of fresh air for the progress of the world of sports, especially football in Indonesia. "With the strategic steps discussed in this discussion, we are optimistic that the achievement of national football can skyrocket and advance again in the future," said the man who was called Cak Hasan.
Based on the results of the discussion, there are several things that need to be considered. First, in organizing football competitions, it must be based on the principle of synergy. Second, football is a sport that has the first INPRES in Indonesia. Third, proper and standard infrastructure development, involving applicable sports science by involving universities, strengthening IT and providing education and training infrastructure.
Fourth, increase the number of human resources for soccer coaches, both male and female, starting at level D to professional level A Pro. Increasing the number of referees licensed from C3 to AFC Elite, increasing supporting human resources such as biomechanics, statistics, physiology, massage, nutrition, and so on. Fifth, talent development through coaching young athletes through national standard SSB.
Sixth, organizing a youth football festival for U<13 years old, organizing a youth competition for U13-20 years, supporting amateur leagues, professional leagues, women's soccer. Eighth, carry out soccer championships at the elite age group level and student level (junior high school level). There will be a junior high school championship in early January 2022. Ninth, the football administration system is connected to PSSI ID and FIFA ID. In addition, there were many other strategic matters that were discussed and became notes in the discussion.
