Pandemic is not a barrier to regeneration for the management of the Indonesian Petanque Sports Federation (FOPI) which is new in Indonesia. Today (1/30/2021) the inauguration was held through virtual zoom media as the basis for determining the management in the effort to create a new work program in the bhakti period 2020-2024. The event, which started at 13.00 WIB, wearing a dresscode of petanque manager's daily clothes.
The event began with the opening of the MC, followed by singing the song Indonesia Raya and Mars Patriot which depicted the might of Sports in Indonesian. In this event was also read pb FOPI Decree carried out by the Secretary General of PB FOPI, Abdul Rozak Wawu and the reading of the inauguration manuscript led directly by the Chairman of FB FOPI, Caca Isa Saleh.
"FOPI (Indonesian Petanque Sports Federation) is a strategic organization, although it is still relatively new but has a great responsibility to socialize petanque sports so that more talent seeds are honed in potential. Hopefully, the mandate that we have achieved can support government programs in controlling and fostering sports, especially in the field of achievement." Congratulations and encouragement to carry out the new mandate continues to be spoken virtually from the inaugural participants consisting of the Provincial Board of FOPI East Java, Chairman of KONI East Java, Board of PB FOPi, Chairman of FOPI Pengprov throughout Indonesia, Head of ICT-Education Office of East Java Province and Chairman of The Chairman of Fopi Pengkap / Pengkot East Java. Great expectations for the development of petanque sports were also conveyed from the world of education. "Hopefully under the leadership of Prof. Nurhasan, petanque sports will be more successful. We highlight that 90% of management members are educators, such as teachers. This is a good step because a teacher can interact directly with the students so that they can easily find and explore talent in the field of petanque sports" said Head of ICT-Education Office of East Java Province, Achmad Alfian Majdi, S.Ikom, .M.Pd.
