Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA —Faculty of Law (FH) Surabaya State University (UNESA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Gresik Religious Court at the Horison Gresik Hotel, on Friday, April 19 2024. This MoU was signed by the Dean of FH, Arinto Nugroho, S.H., S.Pd. , M.H., and General Chair of the Gresik Religious Court, Dr. Drs. H. Rakhmat Hidayat Hs, S.H., M.H.
The Dean, Arianto Nugroho, said that this collaboration highlights the importance of establishing synergy between educational institutions and the judiciary in order to achieve common goals in implementing the tridharma of higher education, namely education, research , and community service.
FH UNESA and the Gresik Religious Court agreed to support each other and implement various programs and activities aimed at increasing understanding of the law, quality law enforcement, and better public services.
p>"This collaboration is a positive step in strengthening the synergy between legal education and judicial institutions. We are confident that with this collaboration, a more productive and quality academic atmosphere will be created," said Arinto Nugroho.
Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of the Gresik Religious Court, Rakhmat Hidayat, also welcomed this collaboration. "We hope that this collaboration can make a positive contribution in increasing legal understanding in society and improving the quality of judicial services in the Gresik area," he said.
By signing this MoU, FH UNESA and the Gresik Religious Court are committed to actively carry out agreed cooperation programs. Through close cooperation between these two institutions, it is hoped that innovations will be born that can provide great benefits for the development of education and justice in Indonesia, especially in the Gresik region.[]
