The collaboration related to the digitalization of this library was discussed in a meeting at the T14 Building, Unesa Campus 2 Tongue Wetan, on Friday, March 14, 2025.
This cooperation aims to develop a more modern and efficient digital -based library system. Head of the Jombang Regency Library and Archives Service, Komariyah conveyed the importance of conventional library transformation into digital form, in order to increase accessibility and effectiveness of information services.
"Library digitalization is not only archiving, but also makes information assets more accessible and utilized by the wider community," he said.
further, Komariyah emphasized that digitalization will have a positive impact on various scientific disciplines, including language and literature. He also highlighted the importance of collaboration with academics in developing systems that are not only based on technology, but also pay attention to linguistic aspects.
"At present, many graduates from various majors, including literature and Indonesian, have a strategic role in government. With this digitalization, they can contribute more in the field of information management, "he added.
Dean of FBS UNESA, Syafi'ul Anam welcomed this cooperation initiative and stated the readiness of the faculty to support the development of library digitalization.
"We will choose competent lecturers to become resources in the discussion and implementation of this project. With good synergy, library digitalization can run optimally and provide broad benefits, "he said.
