Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA–KKN Section, MBKM Subdirectorate under the auspices of the Academic Directorate of Surabaya State University (UNESA) held Education and Training for 2023 KKN-T Field Supervisor Lecturers (DPL) at Building T11 Floor 3, Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS), Campus II Lidah Wetan, Surabaya, on 1-3 December 2023.
The activity carried out by the UNESA KKN Adhoc team was attended by 50 lecturers from various faculties. Chief executive, DPL Training, Dr. Indar Sabri, S.Sn., M.Pd., in his speech said that there is a difference between the past and present KKN-T which focuses on developing potential in the village.
He hopes that the DPL will have adequate provisions. enough to accompany KKN students later, so that it runs smoothly according to expectations and has an impact on people's lives.
Head of the UNESA KKN Section, Said Jatmiko, S.Pd., M.Kes., said that this training was held with the aim of equipping DPL candidates who will guide KKN activities next semester.
They are provided with various materials which become sub-topics in KKN activities including developing village tourism, empowering village communities and village-owned enterprises, and making products in the form of NIB and halal certificates.
"We hope that DPL really understands the process of implementing mentoring in the field with themes that can be carried out so that they can encourage students to create work programs according to the needs of KKN," he said .
Head of Sub-Directorate of MBKM, Dr. M. Jacky, S.Sos., M.Sc., in his speech said that this activity was an effort to improve the skills of DPL candidates to be more qualified in guarding younger students undertaking KKN-T.
DPLs are not only required to have good physical abilities, DPLs also have cognitive, theoretical and implementation skills regarding group and community empowerment.
"Moreover, next year's UNESA KKN will focus more on empowering BUMDes/BUMDesma," he said while opening this activity.
For your information, this activity, which was moderated by Smile Sadhana, S.Sn., M.Pd., also presented several presenters from outside UNESA, including representatives of the Provincial Tourism and Culture Office. East Java, Head of BBPPMDDTT Yogyakarta, and Director of Movement Manager Garda Transfumi East Java. []
