Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA - LPPM UNESA held a Socialization of Guidelines and Proposals for Research and PKM (Community Service) PNBP 2022 Funds on Friday (25/03/2022). This socialization was held online and broadcast live on the UNESA Official Youtube channel by presenting two speakers; Prof. Dr. Sari Edi Cahyaningrum, M.Sc., Head of the RPI Center and Rojil Nugroho Bayu Aji, S. Hum., MA.
LPPM Secretary, Dr. Oce Wiriawan, M.Kes. explained that research and PKM activities have become a necessity for lecturers and the UNESA academic community. He emphasized that lecturers must pay attention to research and PKM outcomes that provide benefits for campus improvement and ranking.
Lecturers are also asked to keep developing themselves in order to keep innovating, synergizing and collaborating in research and PKM activities, so that this socialization is expected to provide benefits to participants.
"Let's unite our determination to develop UNESA through quality research and PKM so as to produce innovative works that can increase contributions to society and the country and make Unesa globally competitive," he said.
Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Sari Edi Cahyaningrum, M.Sc. explained that in 2021 there were 90 research proposals and in 2022 there were 178 proposals that had been submitted to RBM. Research outputs used by the public increased by 535% compared to last year. "We must move together to improve the quality and quantity of research outputs," he said.
Then in the explanation of the PKM guide, Rojil Nugroho Bayu Aji, S.Hum., MA emphasizes and hopes for the PKM proposer about multidisciplinary so that in its implementation, if there is a problem, it produces solutions from various scientific approaches. [UNESA PR]
